Daisy & CC | The Collective started with a name before it ever started with a product.
“Daisy” is what my late husband always called me. When my sister-in-law, CC to everyone who loves her — and I started talking about building something together, putting his name for me at the center of it wasn’t a hard decision. It was the only one that made sense. This company carries his voice in it, even now.
CC’s name carries its own legacy. It’s what all fifteen of her grandchildren and her one great-grandson call her — a name already full of love long before it ever showed up on a business card. Her best gig to date.
CC and I have been family for twenty years, ever since she married my brother. We’ve raised kids together, prayed together, laughed until we couldn’t breathe, and shown up for each other through every season life has handed us. And life has handed us cancer — twice over. CC is a survivor. I’m living with Metastatic Breast Cancer, which means there’s no cure on the table for me. So I’ve stopped calling myself a survivor and started calling myself a Thriver instead.
Surviving sounded like getting through something. I’m choosing to live through it, fully, on purpose, for as long as I’m given.
That choice is the whole reason Daisy & CC | The Collective exists.
We wanted to build something we could run from anywhere — kitchen tables, hospital waiting rooms, wherever a good day or a hard day happened to land us — because flexibility isn’t a perk for us, it’s the point. We wanted work that let us stay together as family, doing something creative and fun. And we wanted whatever we built to give back: ten percent of our revenue goes directly to cancer research, every single sale.
Our faith in God is the thread running through all of it. It’s what got us through diagnosis, treatment, grief, and fear — and it’s what gave us the courage to start something new in the middle of all that instead of waiting for an easier season that might never come.
Between us, we bring different gifts. CC is the creative heart — her design eye and artistic instincts shape everything we make. Before that, she spent over four decades as a nurse and a schoolteacher, caring for people at their most vulnerable and teaching kids how to grow. I bring three decades of leading corporate people programs, scaling startups, and building my own HR consultancy dedicated to serving churches. Different rooms, same calling: we’ve each spent our whole working lives helping people thrive.
Helping others thrive has always been who we are. Daisy & CC | The Collective is just the newest room we’re doing it in.

“Daisy” is the name my late husband always called me. I’m a Thriver living with Metastatic Breast Cancer, which just means I’ve decided that limited time is no reason to stop building something beautiful.
Three decades of leading people programs, scaling startups, and serving the church community gave me the operational backbone for this business. But the heart behind it is simpler: I want to spend the time I have doing something that matters, with the people I love most.
